We are seeking a Production Supervisor – Neck Department to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.

This role is responsible for leading department employees, coordinating workflow, enforcing safety policies, and driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and employee performance. The ideal candidate will foster a positive team environment while maintaining high operational standards and accountability.

Essential Functions Statement(s) 

• Supervises day-to-day production activities to meet schedules, output targets, and quality standards.
• Assigns tasks, monitors workflow, and adjusts staffing/resources as needed.
• Mentors staff and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Evaluates performance of department employees and makes recommendations to the department manager regarding pay increases, reprimands, terminations or other personnel matters.  
• Works with department manager and Human Resources, as needed, to resolve employee upsets and/or conflicts.
• Oversees training of new employees in the methods and responsibilities of the department production.
• Ensures appropriate training, certifications and recertifications are obtained for all department employees.
• Maintains and approves timesheets and time off requests of department employees.
• Promotes a positive work environment with strong communication and teamwork.
• Conducts shift meetings, and resolves operational or personnel issues.
• Ensures adherence to quality control standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures timely delivery of daily production to subsequent department(s).

• Promotes a culture of safety; enforces safety protocols and ensures compliance with company safety practices.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have five plus years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with a high level of attention to detail and experience in high-mix, low-volume production, including responsibility for quality, safety, throughput, and material management.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
